Oak Hill Estates Homeowners Association October 27, 2023 Annual Meeting Minutes
Called to Order:
The meeting was called to order by President, Joe Kohler at 7:05PM. There were 12 lots represented, 41%.
Review Minutes of Previous Meeting:
The minutes of the previous Annual Meeting (October 18, 2022) were emailed to all homeowners with the meeting invitation. Marc Blanton read the notes from the 2022 meeting.
Treasurer’s Report:
President, Joe Kohler reviewed the 2023 monthly financials, showing a net loss of $449 for 2023. A comparison of prior years’ historical financial data from 2009-2022 was also provided for reference. A proposed 2024 budget was presented to include:
- Lot fee to stay $ 150 for 2024 (possible due to excess funds from by prior years’ budget underspending).
- The social event budgeted line item was left at $600 for Community Social Activities.
- We voted that Joe Kohler, President be contracted to fix the cracking mortar on the front signs. That will total around $300.00 and is not included in the budget yet.
After discussion, a motion was made, seconded, and passed to accept the proposed budget as presented.
General Discussion:

Mike Gambrell mentioned that there are a number of dead bushes on the berm near his house. He is going to cut them down and we will not replace them as of now.

It was asked if we could cut the water totally off since we don’t irrigate at the front entrance.

Timothy Boykin asked if the county would fix the stop sign that is often leaning.
Board Elections:
All Board members will stay the same for 2024.

Treasurer: Bill Demuth (continuing)
